At CMC, we firmly believe in giving back to our community. Each year, CMC proudly donates graphic design work, professional consulting services, and marketing products to the following worthwhile organizations:
Entrepreneur Expo: The Entrepreneur Expo is Fort Worth’s largest event for small business owners. The Expo is hosted by the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center. In addition to exhibition and networking opportunities, the Expo provides business owners with valuable educational events to help them grow their businesses. CMC is an annual sponsor of this important event. Since 2004, CMC has donated services to develop the Expo’s themed logo as well as many of the collateral advertising pieces used to promote the event.
Expo Materials for 2008 were recently entered into Hermes Creative Awards competition and won an Honorable Mention in the Non-Profit category.
Texas Homeless Network: The Texas Homeless Network (THN) is a statewide non-profit agency dedicated to strengthening communities and partnerships in order to prevent and eliminate homelessness. Each year, the THN hosts its annual conference to raise funds and work with other Texas agencies in an effort to improve services and raise awareness of current issues related to the homeless in Texas. CMC donates a wide array of THN branded apparel and merchandise annually to be sold at the conference in order to help THN raise funds for this worthy cause. When possible, a CMC representative attends the conference to ensure the merchandise is presented in a way that will maximize exposure for the conference.
Fort Worth Business Assistance Center: The Fort Worth Business Assistance Center (BAC) is part of the Fort Worth Council for Economic & Community Development. The BAC is comprised of 12 service providers offering resources for those who want to start or grow a business. This is done through workshops, training, counseling, mentoring, and more. CMC is honored to help the BAC by regularly teaching classes and workshops related to marketing, branding, and promotion.
Bea's Kids: The mission of Bea's Kids is to provide educational and personal development programs to children from low-income families so they will stay in school and break the cycle of poverty. Shelly Iversen, CMC Senior Partner, serves as a Board Member, and the company has also donated the development of a strategic marketing plan for the organization as well as the design and development of a new website (www.beaskids.org).
